Looking for a simple way to meet people online? A random webcam chat lets you start a real-time conversation without filling out a profile. Turn on your camera when you are ready, say hello, and decide whether you want to keep talking.
How random video chat works
- Read and accept the service rules on the next page.
- Open the chat and allow camera and microphone access when your browser asks.
- Talk with the person you are matched with. If the conversation is not right for you, use the chat's next-partner control to move on.
Free video chat with strangers
The basic random video chat is available without registration. It is a straightforward way to talk to strangers, share a conversation, and meet new people online. You choose whether to enable your camera and microphone in the browser.
Random webcam chat on desktop and mobile
Use a supported browser on a computer or phone. A stable internet connection, a working camera, and microphone permission help provide a better video-chat experience. If you prefer not to share video, do not enable your camera.
Talk to strangers safely
ChatRoulett is for adults aged 18 and over. Do not share private information with people you have just met. Harassment, threats, privacy violations, and prohibited content are not allowed. Read the full service rules before starting.
Start when you are ready
Review the agreement first. After you accept it, the English video chat opens at /en/chat/ with the interface in English.
